These days 2010 regional elections have engaged many people to support their candidates. In Sydney, many people have participated in the political campaign in favor of their political party, talking to each other and trying to persuade undecided voters. And on the web? There is talk of politics in many websites, from institutional to blogs and social networks. Here, then, that research on the trafficking of keywords mentioned on Twitter becomes an instrument curious to see the significance of some terms related to these regional elections in Lombardy.
By searching on the past week (7 days before the election), we can see that wins Formigoni (People of Freedom) with 14 "quotations" followed by Agnoletto (PRC and the Italian Communists), and gradually all the others.
If we do a wider search on total period of existence of Twitter, the situation does not change: wins Formigoni the same with 1310 "quotes". Second place for Agnoletto (PRC and the Italian Communists) with 937 citations. A follow others.
