Today I present trend Google search terms Twitter and Facebook from 2004 to the present day. Keep it controlled the trends over time, to see how it evolves, the search for these social networks. You can see that Facebook was born a year earlier, and has obtained the boom in research since 2008, growing more and more in the next two years. The states where it is the most searched term Facebook ? In the first place are Turkey, followed by Croatia and Italy.
For Twitter discourse is a bit different: indeed, the research began in 2007 and see the boom in 2009, growing to this day. Note that while Facebook is growing continuously over time, Twitter has been a drop in research towards the end of 2009, steadily recovering its growth in 2010. At the forefront of research to state there is Brazil, followed by Ireland and England.
I think it's useful to see the trend of search for the word "privacy ", and it is interesting to note that over time has been sought less and less, a sign that the importance and the attention it devotes to this issue is less and less influential, coinciding with the birth of the most popular social networks.
